ENERGY & HEALTH

Module 6 · 7 min

Time is given. Energy decides how much you can do with it.

Try this first: Think of a great day

Think of a day when you got a lot done.

How had you slept the night before? What had you eaten?

The idea: Time × energy

Everyone has the same 24 hours. Energy is what changes.

“Time × Energy = what you actually get done.”

Body and mind: Where energy comes from

Tap each one.

Body and mind together: sleep, movement, nutrition, relationships, mental habits, hobbies
  • Sleep · More energy, better attention
  • Movement · Strength and a better mood
  • Food · Energy for your body and brain
  • A calm mind · Less stress, clearer thinking
  • People · Support and belonging
  • Hobbies · Rest, renew and recharge

Explore: How your body works

Discover how your own body works.

Did you know?: Technology for health

Smart rings and watches use tiny light and temperature sensors to track heart rate, sleep and more.

Technology can help you notice patterns. But the basics are free: sleep, food, water and movement.

Your turn: Giver or drain?

Does each one give you energy or drain it?

  • Sleeping by 10 pm (Giver: Sleep is when your body and memory recharge.)
  • Skipping breakfast (Drain: Your brain runs low by mid-morning.)
  • A game of kabaddi with friends (Giver: Movement and friends both lift energy.)
  • Scrolling in bed late at night (Drain: Screens delay sleep.)
  • Drinking water through the day (Giver: Even mild thirst makes you tired.)

Remember: Body and mind together

“A healthy body gives you energy. A calm mind helps you direct it.”

Your turn: Pause & ponder

What is one thing that drains your energy, and one thing that gives it?

Apply: Try this week

Change one small thing: sleep 30 minutes earlier, carry a fruit, or walk for 10 minutes.

Notice your energy at the end of the week.

Well done!
